Alright, here is a teaser from The Secret of Ella and Micha, set to release at the end of September! Keep in mind that this is a Mature Young Adult/ New Adult Contemporary, and isn't suitable for younger readers.
There’s a darkness in my chest, like the devil hidden inside me is about to make a grand appearance. I raise my hands and sway my hips, letting my hair fall down my shoulders and my back. I breathe freely, just like I use to every single day before I ran away. The more the music sings, the more relaxed I become. My head falls from side to side and my eyes drift shut.
I feel someone move up behind me and they smell of desire mingled with an earthy scent and something else—something mouthwatering. Micha.
He touches my hips, his hands domineering. He nearly melts me as he spreads his fingers around my waist and presses his body against mine, wanting as much of me as he can get.
“I thought you didn’t dance anymore,” his whispers in a feral voice, his warm breath touching every part of me.
A voice in my head screams at me to run; that he’ll see past the façade and into the very heart of me. But I shut the voice up and keep dancing, leaning back into him, and breathing in his familiar scent. “I guess I’m a liar.”
“You didn’t use to be.” He sweeps my hair to the side and implores our bodies closer. Through the fabric of our clothes, I feel the heat radiating off him like the sun. “In fact, you use to be the most honest person I knew.”
I slant my head back against his chest. “People change, Micha. Sometimes without being able to help it.”
“That’s not what this is about.” His hands slide down my hips and they don’t stop until the reach the hem of my dress. “And you know it.”
My eyes snap open and I start to pull away. But he intensifies his embrace and pins me against him so we’re bonded together in every way possible. I feel the hardness of his chest and the heat emitting off every single part of him. It makes me want to moan.
“I want you, pretty girl” he whispers. “Badly.”
