In search of the perfect vintage shoe

Lately, I've been really wanting a pair (or four) of vintage shoes, but since they are not always in the greatest of quality, scarce in my size and often pricy, I've been scouring the web for repro shoes instead.

I started with a gander at Remix since I've heard so many wonderful things about them.








*sigh* Maybe one day I'll snag a pair on sale but that day is not today. So I went searching.

 

I found a bunch of cute designs by Chelsea Crew on ModCloth and Amazon.  These read very 40s to me.

I also fell in love with this shoe. I also spied it in navy, black and burgundy around the net. Of course, the color I liked best (burgundy) was only available on one site and out of stock in my size.


I also loved this pair but I think this is a discontinued style.

I also stumbled upon Aris Allen swing dance shoes.




I'm loving these 30s style wedges! And they're less than half the price of the Remix ones.



And these 30s style lovelies are for when you are feeling a bit dressier.

So I guess the question is which pair to buy?
