Yard Sale

I've decided to let go of a few pieces from my wardrobe and I'm going to give you guys first dibs! Please check measurements carefully. You need to be smaller than the measurements to fit! To purchase, please email me at girlwiththestarspangledheart@gmail.com and I will send you a paypal invoice after we've worked out the details and shipping.

First up, Freddies of Pinewood 1940s Work Pants $60 plus shipping

I adore these pants, but they are sadly too big for me now. :( They fit just perfectly when I was w: 31.5", h: 45".

Size 32"
waist:  32"
hips: 46"

Condition: Like new-I didn't get to wear these pants too often before they became too big and I've taken very good care of them. Currently sell new for 50 GBP (~$78) + shipping (~$30 to US).

I did wear them cuffed but they didn't drag on the ground and the bottoms are not damaged in any way.

And the other side. It's been so long since I've worn these that I can't remember if they are clean so I will wash them before I ship them out to their new home!

Next, vintage white dress $45 plus shipping

I thrifted this dress in high school so I'm not sure how old it is, but it is just darling.

Vintage size 9/10
bust: 32"
waist: 26"
hips: 40"

The outer fabric is sheer with opaque white stripes and the lace has bows in it! The bodice is lightly boned for extra support. The back is poking out funky in this picture because I can't zip it on me!

Condition: very good- There are a couple of rust spots on the back of one of the lace bows but it won't be seen when worn. Also a corner or two of the boning is poking out at the top. If you find it too pokey, you can file down the plastic boning so it's not sharp.

It has a darling lapped zipper in the back.

Included is a little self-fabric wrap.

1960s Tweed plaid skirt suit $80 + shipping

Oh, so Mad Men! This 60s plaid tweed set is just too cute! It features a cute knit trim with little balls on the top and is fully lined! It's very warm and I just adore the skirt. If the top fit I'd so be keeping this lovely but, alas, it does not. It's nice and warm

top:
bust: 36"
waist: 31"

skirt:
waist: 28"
hips: 40"

The top closes with a back zipper. The skirt features a back vent (which is off center in this shot. Oops!) and has a side zipper.

Tears in underarm lining.

Condition: very good- There are a few tares in the lining and some repaired ones, but this really does not affect the wearability of the garment! They'd be simple to repair or just wear a slip if the exposed fabric is too itchy for you. It smelled heavily of moth balls when I got it, but after a professional dry cleaning and some airing out, the smell is almost completely gone.

Two repaired and two not repaired tears in skirt lining.

Feel free to email me (girlwiththestarspangledheart@gmail.com) questions or leave them in the comments. I have one or two more pieces that I'm still on the fence about so there may be more things on sale later on.
