71st week of IAW auctions (auctions ending June 8th)
While this is the 70th week of auctions, It is titled Week 77 to be consistent with the Star Trek Auctions Archive.
I am still looking for other collectors to write blog articles!
The Legate Damar Cardassian Costume went for $ 3,001. It was a re-list of a costume that went for $ 3,550 in Week 38. Pretty reasonable I think. It was originally returned because there was some deterioration on the rubber chest piece. It looks fine in the photograph though, and Colin felt the deterioration was minimal. Either way, we shall see if Forum member Philip Gordon is happy with it!
The Romulan Senator Robes went for an astronomical $ 1,726. These things seem to be getting more popular as new bidders come into the auction. I love the blue ones, but not at this price! I paid $ 500 for mine! Still, they are very cool.
The Command Red Starfleet Uniform at $ 1,281 was one I think I saw in the IAW store when they had their sale a couple of months ago. I say that because I remember trying it on and the arms are REALLY short. You can see this in the photo.
The Tom Paris Uniform and Costume Lot at $ 1,225 was a great deal. A complete Tom Paris, and an Operations Gold variant to boot, for vthis price is a steal.
A Season1/2 Starfleet Uniform in Sciences Blue went for $ 1,009 which was reasonable. I think this style will become more and more valuable.
A Command Red Voyager Jumpsuit went for a quite reasonable $ 909. While an Operations Gold version went cheap at $ 490.
An Enterprise Command Gold Starfleet Uniform from the final episode of Enterprise "These Are the Voyages" went for a very cool $ 900.
I loved the Lonzak - Evil Hencman costume from Voyager's Captain Proton holo-adventure. My buddy Dana won this at $ 849 which was a great deal.
I won the Female Founder Costume at $ 813, which was a great deal since this was the costume Salome Jens wore as the female shape shifter in the final episode of DS9.
As far as props go:
The Klingon Court Translation Device went for a strong, but reasonable $ 1,924. A beautiful and memorable prop.
The Voyager LCARS Style Console Interface at $ 1,725 was a bit overpriced if you ask me. We have seen plenty of these and I think these are worth about $ 1,200.
The Enterprise NX-01 Button Panel Lot at $ 1,276 was a pretty fair deal. Break this up and you get a good price on lots of cool components.
An Enterprise era Starfleet Energy Carbine went for a very fair $ 820. I just bought one of these direct from IAW at almost this exact price. These are cool and the first Starfleet Rifle!
Finally, an Enterprise Orion PADD from "Borderland" went for $ 635.
